In January 2005 I completed my 2-year shipping training program with Wrist Shipping A/S in Aalborg. I have been part of the daily Wrist Shipping routines throughout my training period and was given my own area of responsibility on my very first day of work.
My level of responsibility increased steadily throughout my training. It is encouraging to know that you make a difference and are considered an important part of the company right from the start.
I enjoyed meeting other young people with similar interests and have made many new friends and contacts in other companies. I spent time working in three different departments during my training.
After completing the trainee program, the trainee is privileged with career opportunities - both at home and abroad.
My time at Wrist Shipping A/S was characterized by being part of a strong team in a pleasant working environment. And by arranging team building activities Wrist Shipping A/S contributed to creating friendship between employees.
Troels is now continuing his career, working as an oil trader purchasing oil for O.W. Bunker & Trading A/S. in the purchase department.
